Appointment setting for recruitment agencies and staffing firmsMore conversations with employers who are hiring.
We find businesses that hire in your specialty, start the conversation, and book qualifying calls or meetings with the managers who own the roles. You only pay for the ones that happen.
Free and quick, no sign-up. We read your website's public pages and show you who we'd book you in with. What's in a meeting plan?
We're based in Sydney and book calls or meetings for businesses in Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand and beyond.
Who we'd book you in with
You run a recruitment agency or staffing firm: permanent, contract or temp, probably in a few specialties you know well. Your consultants are at their best filling roles, but winning new clients takes hours of business development. We take on the client side, booking you in with employers. We don't contact candidates or jobseekers.
The people we'd aim to book you in with hire people, or decide who helps them do it. For example:
- Hiring managers who keep losing weeks to hard-to-fill roles
- HR, talent and people and culture managers at growing businesses
- Owners and general managers of businesses without an HR team
- Operations managers who need contract or temporary staff for busy periods
- Project directors planning to build a team for a new contract
Why they'd take the call
- A key role has been open for months and advertising hasn't worked.
- They're growing quickly and the hiring plan is bigger than their team can handle.
- They've won a contract or project and need people quickly.
- Their current agency sends the wrong candidates or goes quiet.
- Seasonal peaks keep catching them short-staffed.
How it works
- Lead generation and enrichment
- Prospecting
- Cold calling and email
- Follow-ups
- Qualification
- Booking
We research businesses that match your criteria and find the right person at each one. Then we start the conversation with messaging you approve, follow up, check each interested prospect against what we agreed, and book the ones who qualify into your calendar, with a brief before every call or meeting.
What counts as qualified
- The employer hires in your specialty and your area
- The person attending owns the roles or chooses which agencies to use
- They have current or upcoming roles, not just a general interest
- They've agreed to talk about working with an agency, not just to receive CVs
- They're not an existing client or someone you're already pitching to
Examples only. We agree the exact criteria with you before we start, because every business is different.
What you get before every call or meeting
- Who they are: the business, its size and where it hires
- Who's coming and their role in hiring
- The roles they've mentioned, and how urgent they are
- Which agencies they use now, if they've said, and what's not working
- What they want to cover, and the format
- Business
- Regional engineering firm
- Attending
- Head of operations, who signs off agency use
- Roles
- Two project engineers and a site supervisor
- Why now
- Won a new contract starting soon; advertising hasn't found the right people
- Wants to cover
- How you'd approach the roles, and your terms
- Format
- Video call
What you pay
Pay for what happens
One flat price per qualifying call or meeting that actually takes place, agreed before we start. No-shows are never charged.
No retainer, no lock-in
Nothing for research, outreach or replies, and you can stop whenever you like.
A brief every time
Before each call or meeting you get who they are, what they need and why they said yes.
Is this a fit for you?
A good fit if
- You have consultants with room for new clients in your specialty
- You can talk credibly about the market for the roles you fill
- Someone can run a client meeting and follow up quickly
Probably not yet if
- Your consultants are flat out on existing clients
- You're after candidates rather than clients
What we can and can't promise
We can
- Book qualifying calls or meetings with employers and hiring managers
- Brief you on the roles and what's prompting the conversation
- Only charge for the ones that actually take place
We can't
- Contact candidates or jobseekers, or source people for roles
- Discuss your fees or terms on your behalf
- Promise that a prospect signs, or a set number of calls or meetings each month
What we'd need from you
- Your specialties and the types of role you fill
- The areas you recruit in
- The kinds and sizes of employer you work with best
- Current clients and live pitches, so we leave them alone
- Which consultants take the conversations, and their availability
What's in your meeting plan
Tell us your website and who you'd like to meet. We'll review it and put together a short plan for your business. It's free, and it's yours whether or not you go ahead.
- What you sell, in plain words
- The customer segments we'd start with
- The decision-maker roles we'd aim to reach
- How we'd approach your market
- Draft criteria for a qualifying call or meeting
- What we'd need from you to brief you properly
Then, if you'd like, a free call with James to talk it through and agree pricing.
Questions recruitment agencies and staffing firms ask
Do you contact candidates?
No. We only contact employers and hiring managers, to book client conversations for you. Finding candidates is your job, and you're good at it.
Can you focus on one specialty?
Yes. A clear specialty usually makes for better conversations. Tell us where you're strongest and we'll build the list around it.
What if they only have one role?
We agree with you what counts before we start. Some agencies are happy with a single role in the right sector; others want employers with ongoing hiring. It's your call.
Can you reach employers who already use an agency?
Yes. Many employers use more than one agency, or would if a better one came along. We open the conversation without criticising anyone.
What does the meeting plan cost?
Nothing. The meeting plan and an introductory call with James are both free. You only pay once we're booking qualifying calls or meetings for you, at a price agreed before we start.
Do I have to book a call to get my plan?
No. We'll send your plan either way. The call is there if you want to talk it through.
