Appointment setting for commercial insurance brokers and agenciesMeet business owners before their renewal comes around.
We find businesses that fit the clients you serve best, start the conversation ahead of renewal, and book qualifying calls or meetings with the owner or finance lead. You only pay for the ones that happen.
Free and quick, no sign-up. We read your website's public pages and show you who we'd book you in with. What's in a meeting plan?
We're based in Sydney and book calls or meetings for businesses in Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand and beyond.
Who we'd book you in with
You're a commercial insurance broker or agency: business packages, liability, property, fleet, cyber, maybe a specialty niche. Most businesses renew with whoever they used last year because nobody gave them a reason to talk. We give your brokers more of those conversations, so they can spend their time advising instead of prospecting.
The people we'd aim to book you in with buy insurance for their business. For example:
- Owners and managing directors of small and mid-sized businesses
- Finance managers and financial controllers who handle renewals
- Operations managers at businesses with vehicles, sites or contractors
- Owners of trade, contracting and construction businesses with growing teams
- Founders of fast-growing businesses whose cover hasn't kept up
Why they'd take the call
- Their premiums jumped at the last renewal and nobody explained why.
- The business has changed: new premises, more staff, new contracts or vehicles.
- A client contract or tender asked for cover they're not sure they have.
- They've had a claim and weren't happy with how it was handled.
- Renewal is a few months away and they'd like a second opinion this time.
How it works
- Lead generation and enrichment
- Prospecting
- Cold calling and email
- Follow-ups
- Qualification
- Booking
We research businesses that match your criteria and find the right person at each one. Then we start the conversation with messaging you approve, follow up, check each interested prospect against what we agreed, and book the ones who qualify into your calendar, with a brief before every call or meeting.
What counts as qualified
- The business is in the sectors and size range you write
- The person attending owns the business or makes insurance decisions
- Their renewal or a change in the business gives a real reason to talk
- They've agreed to a conversation with a broker, not just to receive a quote by return
- They're not an existing client or someone you're already quoting
Examples only. We agree the exact criteria with you before we start, because every business is different.
What you get before every call or meeting
- Who they are: the business, what it does, its size and locations
- Who's coming and their role
- Their renewal timing, if they shared it
- What's prompted the conversation, in their words
- What they want to cover, and the format
- Business
- Landscaping company with a fleet of vehicles
- Attending
- Owner, with the office manager who handles paperwork
- Renewal
- In about three months
- Why now
- Won a large contract that asks for higher liability limits
- Wants to cover
- Whether their current cover meets the contract, and a review at renewal
- Format
- Phone call
What you pay
Pay for what happens
One flat price per qualifying call or meeting that actually takes place, agreed before we start. No-shows are never charged.
No retainer, no lock-in
Nothing for research, outreach or replies, and you can stop whenever you like.
A brief every time
Before each call or meeting you get who they are, what they need and why they said yes.
Is this a fit for you?
A good fit if
- You have broker capacity to take on new commercial clients
- You know which sectors and sizes of business you serve best
- Someone can run a first conversation and follow it through to renewal
Probably not yet if
- You mainly write personal lines
- You can't take on new clients until after a busy renewal period
What we can and can't promise
We can
- Book qualifying calls or meetings with owners and finance leads
- Brief you on the business and their renewal timing
- Only charge for the ones that actually take place
We can't
- Discuss cover, premiums or claims, or give any insurance advice on your behalf
- Ask for policy documents or personal information
- Promise that a prospect signs, or a set number of calls or meetings each month
What we'd need from you
- The lines and sectors you want to grow
- Your area, or whether you place business nationwide
- The size of business and premium you're after, in broad terms
- Current clients and open quotes, so we leave them alone
- Which brokers take the conversations, and their availability
What's in your meeting plan
Tell us your website and who you'd like to meet. We'll review it and put together a short plan for your business. It's free, and it's yours whether or not you go ahead.
- What you sell, in plain words
- The customer segments we'd start with
- The decision-maker roles we'd aim to reach
- How we'd approach your market
- Draft criteria for a qualifying call or meeting
- What we'd need from you to brief you properly
Then, if you'd like, a free call with James to talk it through and agree pricing.
Questions commercial insurance brokers and agencies ask
Do you give insurance advice?
No. We never discuss cover, premiums or claims. We find out whether someone wants to talk to a broker and why, and book them in with you.
Can you time conversations around renewals?
We ask about renewal timing early and note it in your brief. You can make a renewal window part of what counts as qualifying.
Can you focus on a niche, like construction or hospitality?
Yes. A clear niche usually makes for better conversations. Tell us where your expertise is and we'll build the list around it.
We're bound by rules on how we market. Does that work?
Tell us your requirements and we'll build the outreach around them. You approve the messaging before anything goes out.
What does the meeting plan cost?
Nothing. The meeting plan and an introductory call with James are both free. You only pay once we're booking qualifying calls or meetings for you, at a price agreed before we start.
Do I have to book a call to get my plan?
No. We'll send your plan either way. The call is there if you want to talk it through.
