Appointment setting for commercial solar providersTalk to businesses with big roofs and bigger power bills.
We find businesses and property owners where solar could make sense, start the conversation, and book qualifying calls or meetings with whoever signs off on energy. You only pay for the ones that happen.
Free and quick, no sign-up. We read your website's public pages and show you who we'd book you in with. What's in a meeting plan?
We're based in Sydney and book calls or meetings for businesses in Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand and beyond.
Who we'd book you in with
You design and install solar, and often batteries, for businesses: warehouses, factories, offices, farms, schools, shopping centres. Commercial projects take longer to decide on than homes, and they're decided by owners and finance people, not whoever answers the phone. We help you reach the people who make the call.
The people we'd aim to book you in with own the building, pay the power bill, or both. For example:
- Owners and managing directors of businesses with high daytime energy use
- Finance managers and financial controllers who watch energy costs
- Owners of commercial and industrial property, and their property managers
- Facilities and operations managers at warehouses, cold storage and manufacturing sites
- Sustainability or energy leads at larger businesses with emissions targets
Why they'd take the call
- Energy costs have become one of their biggest overheads.
- They own a large roof, and have wondered for years whether solar would stack up.
- Customers, investors or their own board are asking about emissions.
- They're building, extending or re-roofing, so the timing suits.
- They have solar already and want to look at batteries or more capacity.
How it works
- Lead generation and enrichment
- Prospecting
- Cold calling and email
- Follow-ups
- Qualification
- Booking
We research businesses that match your criteria and find the right person at each one. Then we start the conversation with messaging you approve, follow up, check each interested prospect against what we agreed, and book the ones who qualify into your calendar, with a brief before every call or meeting.
What counts as qualified
- The site is in your service area and the size of system you build
- The business owns the building, or the tenant has a long enough lease to make it worthwhile
- The person attending can make or sponsor the decision, or will bring the person who can
- They've agreed to talk about solar for their site, not just to get a ballpark figure
- They're not an existing customer or a project you're already proposing
Examples only. We agree the exact criteria with you before we start, because every business is different.
What you get before every call or meeting
- Who they are: the business, the site and how it uses energy, as far as they've said
- Who's coming, their role and who else signs off
- Whether they own the building or lease it
- What's prompted the conversation, and any timing like a build or roof replacement
- What they want to cover, and whether it's a call or a site visit
- Business
- Food manufacturer that owns its factory
- Attending
- Financial controller, with the operations manager
- Situation
- Owns the building; runs refrigeration and production lines during the day
- Why now
- Energy costs came up at the last board meeting
- Wants to cover
- Whether solar and a battery suit the site, and how a project would run
- Format
- Site visit
What you pay
Pay for what happens
One flat price per qualifying call or meeting that actually takes place, agreed before we start. No-shows are never charged.
No retainer, no lock-in
Nothing for research, outreach or replies, and you can stop whenever you like.
A brief every time
Before each call or meeting you get who they are, what they need and why they said yes.
Is this a fit for you?
A good fit if
- You design and install commercial systems, not just residential ones
- You can run a site assessment and proposal for the projects you're booked into
- Someone senior can meet owners and finance people
Probably not yet if
- Most of your work is homes
- You can't take on new commercial projects for the next few months
What we can and can't promise
We can
- Book qualifying calls, meetings or site visits with people who sign off energy spending
- Brief you on the site, ownership and what's prompting the conversation
- Only charge for the ones that actually take place
We can't
- Quote system sizes, savings, payback or any incentives on your behalf
- Make claims about energy prices or government schemes
- Promise that a prospect signs, or a set number of calls or meetings each month
What we'd need from you
- The systems you build, and the smallest and largest projects you take on
- Your service area
- The kinds of business and site you want: owner-occupied, landlords, specific sectors
- Current customers and open proposals, so we leave them alone
- Availability for calls and site visits
What's in your meeting plan
Tell us your website and who you'd like to meet. We'll review it and put together a short plan for your business. It's free, and it's yours whether or not you go ahead.
- What you sell, in plain words
- The customer segments we'd start with
- The decision-maker roles we'd aim to reach
- How we'd approach your market
- Draft criteria for a qualifying call or meeting
- What we'd need from you to brief you properly
Then, if you'd like, a free call with James to talk it through and agree pricing.
Questions commercial solar providers ask
Will you mention rebates or savings to get a call or meeting?
No. We don't make claims about savings, payback or incentives. Those belong in your proposal, backed by your numbers.
Can you target property owners rather than tenants?
Yes. Who owns the building is one of the first things we find out, and we can make ownership part of what counts as qualifying.
Commercial solar takes months to decide. Does that matter?
Not to how you pay. You pay when a qualifying call or meeting happens, not when a project is signed. We agree with you what counts.
We're electricians who also do solar. Which page fits?
If solar is what you want more of, this one. If it's general electrical work, see our page for commercial electrical contractors. We can run both.
What does the meeting plan cost?
Nothing. The meeting plan and an introductory call with James are both free. You only pay once we're booking qualifying calls or meetings for you, at a price agreed before we start.
Do I have to book a call to get my plan?
No. We'll send your plan either way. The call is there if you want to talk it through.
